Kerry Simmons
Biography

A life spent drawing

Kerry Simmons has been working as a fine artist since 2003. Her work is collected nationally and internationally and has been shown in galleries throughout the United States — including five solo exhibitions at Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, South Carolina.

Her training spans three classical academies on two continents: the New York Academy of Art, the Ukrainian Academy of Art in Kiev, and the Repin Academy of Art in Saint Petersburg — a foundation visible in the patient, layered realism of her paintings and drawings.

Kerry lives and works in the Chicagoland area, where the prairies, gardens, and birdlife of the Midwest find their way into much of her recent work.
